Review Roundup - Week of June 26, 2009
In a Review Roundup first, I’m listing only ONE review this week. Not that there weren’t other great ones out there this week. But I kinda feel like this one needs to stand alone. Whether it’s because it’s just a mind blowing review, or maybe because other review sites may not want to be associated with it, remains to be determined. It may also be because I’m lazy like hell today, and this makes for less typing and/or searching through my Thunderbird feeds for good reviews. I apologize to all the other product reviewers out there who un-benefited from this. Nevertheless:

Editor’s Note: I loved the above
reviewsreview, I wish I could write as well asthese peoplethis person, and I promise the next roundup will have more reviews as long as Marvo does not write about another brand of butt wiper.

I use Google Reader to weed through all of the reviews. I have all of their feed in a folder and as they post new reviews, I star the ones that I feel might be good for TWIR.
Thanks for the link love!

Thunderbird is not too bad, I have a folder on it for all the review blogs out there I read too, it sorta works for the Roundup. I was wondering - how does TIB and blogs like Grubgrade find out about all the new products? Are there feeds for that kinda stuff, or do you just have to search - I’m really bad at keeping on top of new product releases.

I have a folder of bookmarks of company websites. Right now that folder had 126 bookmarks. Whenever I’m looking for new products, I open all of those bookmarks in 126 tabs. That’s pretty much it.

Man, you get props for the brute force method. =) But I bet your browser says “ouch” when you open that many tabs, hehe. Still, I might try something like that in future…
