Happy Slappy Halloween!
Like most folks, I’ve been distracted with Whatnot (election, eeekconomy, everything iMac), so I haven’t posted as many meaningful Cheaplander things lately. Sorry ’bout that, but it’s gonna pick up in the next few weeks hopefully.
Anyhow, I’ve gotta run. But, I can’t wrap up the week without a review roundup. Here are some of the Tricks or Treats in produc reviewsthis week.

Off Her Cork - TRICK: Andrea warns us about shiny, gritty tortillas. Hm… when you mix the two words “shiny” and “gritty” together…
Candy Blog - TREAT: Cybele gets started early on potential stocking stuffers - pearls, anyone? I should buy some of these to throw at some of the nabobs in Pasadena who frown at me parking in front of their mansions - how do you like me now, you Richlanders?
Japanese Snack Reviews - TREAT: Orchid 64 is cool with the processed cheese and nuts. I would be willing to try it too, but that’s coming from someone who digs cheese and fishcake paste tube snacks as well.
The Impulsive Buy - TRICK: Marvo did not like these Jack in the Balpha Churros. I don’t either, because I like to swing my churro like a lightsabre. Yes, that was me in the video.
Heat Eat Review - TREAT: Jess gives props to the White Toque Provencal Quiche. I know real men eat it, but I wonder if real men can remember the name, let alone pronounce it. The cost is definitely not a Treat, as well.
Editor’s Note: I loved the above reviews, I wish I could write as well as these people, and now I’m gonna login to Guild Wars on the new iMac (using Crossover) and get me some trick or treat goodie bags. Happy Phriday!

Cheese and fish paste in tubes. I think there would be a market for that in Japan and am surprised it isn’t sold here already. That might be a marketing opportunity for someone.
And, hey, you’re on Guild Wars, too! That’s the place for us cheap gamers to be. I have to work today, so say hello to the Mad King for me. I’m in the CARL guild. We have an absolutely stupid web site which we post to when we have time (which isn’t as often as we’d like). It’s a complete waste of time, but if you’re interested, it’s here.

@orchid64 - hehe! i had no idea you played - my brother and wife are also in on Guild Wars, but we are total noobs. Also, we never play PvP… we’re just not into that. We just take our time wandering around in PvE - we do have a Guild though, it’s called “meow”. =) I ended up getting goodie bags and some Zombie Face Paint(?) Oh, btw, you mean you haven’t tried the kamaboko and cheese tubes before? You should get some! I’m sure they have it somewhere over there…
